We used structured electronic health record data and NLP-extracted clinical features (De la Hoz et al., 2025) to identify disparities in psychiatric outcomes among patients with major depressive disorder, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia. Our findings highlight how socioeconomic and geographic barriers impact patient care, and how having family/social support may help mitigate these effects. Read more about it on this link!
