Loes (PI):
Loes Olde Loohuis uses and develops genetic and computational approaches to identify the causes of severe mental illness and to characterize disease trajectories. Before starting her lab in 2020, Loes was a postdoc at UCLA. In 2018, she was awarded a transition to independence K99/R00 award through NIMH, mentored by Nelson Freimer and Roel Ophoff.
She obtained her Ph.D. in Computer Science from the City University New York, working under supervision of Dr. Bud Mishra and a Masters in Logic at the Institute for Logic Language and Computation.
